The Value of our Values

I always wonder what values are and why man needs them. I believe an end goal is necessary for human being; a realistic goal based on rational process of thinking and logic. A goal that is defined in this world, for this world, will persuade by an individual during her/his life span. Our values are defining a mechanism for us to choose between alternatives in order to reach our goal.
Since we are living in a physical and material world, our end goal and the values lead us to it are and should be interrelated with our surroundings and physical existence. Define a mystical (non-existent) goal for an existing body is impossible. It is going to deny the efficacy of our existence. And since our goal can not by mystical, our values need to define mechanisms for this word, based on reason and logic applicable to our material life. Moral principles and objective rational values are two sides of the same coin. One can not define her/his moral principles and values based on subjective rationality! The words “subjective” and “rationality” can not and should not come together.
